Our electric start smooth oil tank features side fill with top fittings but can only be used with Hitachi type starter motors.
Tank will install on stock FX or FL Swingarm frames and houses the stock FXE 12 volt battery sold separately. This oil tank allows removal of battery without removing the tank from the frame.
Fits Vtwins:
FL 1965-1984
FX 1971-1984

Tech Note:

Suggested to use with #53-0518 12 volt battery.
