Gas tank emblem mount kit is for H-D "V" emblems and is self adhesive or weld on type for 1955-1956 Vtwins.
Emblem mounts must be contoured to match tank curve before installation. Adhesive may be used to test placement of emblem mount. Later you may remove adhesive and weld on!

Tech Note:

Suggested to use #38-7040 or #38-7022 emblems.
Suggested to use #37-8827 screws.
